In a significant announcement for cricket fans, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that fans who attended rain-affected matches during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 being hosted by Pakistan will be fully refunded for their tickets. This decision comes as a relief to supporters who braved the inclement weather only to face interrupted matches.
The PCB spokesperson revealed that ticket holders for the two matches held in Rawalpindi, specifically the Australia vs. South Africa game on February 25 and the subsequent Bangladesh vs. Pakistan clash on February 27, will be eligible for a refund due to the unfortunate circumstances that prevented any play from taking place.
Notably, holders of Hospitality Boxes (Box and PCB Gallery) will not be eligible for reimbursement. Refunds will be available at designated TCS outlets from Monday, March 10, 2025, to Friday, March 14, 2025. Fans are encouraged to act within this window, as late applications will not be accepted.
To successfully claim a refund, ticket holders must meet the following requirements:
01. Present the original, undamaged ticket as proof of purchase.
02. Visit the TCS outlet in person; refunds cannot be claimed by anyone other than the original purchaser.
